Probe speed is speed at which machine measures different geometries under Machine/Measure menu.
After initial first probe activation, machine will repeat measurement again, but this time at Low speed.
Measure procedures are described here: Measure menu
Length of probe.
Radius of the stylus ball of touching probe.
In a case where probe center is not aligned with Z axis center over X axis, user can set offset value.
In a case where probe center is not aligned with Z axis center over X axis, user can set offset value.
This is the distance from the tip of the probe stylus ball to the edge of the probe shoulder. This value is considered when calculating distances in the measurement procedure so that the probe is not damaged.
TNG offers option where tool in tool table can be set as probe. When this option is enabled, probe properties(diameter, speed, length) are considered the one that are set in the tool table.
Height value to which machine ascends in-between the measurement procedure.
Height distance for which machine retracts after probe activation.
During machine operation(machine jogging or NC program execution), if probe input is activated, Estop will be activated.
