Here you can set sensor parameters regarding Measure procedures under Machine/Work Position/Measure Height
Speed Z is speed at which machine will measure height.
After initial first sensor activation, machine will repeat measurement again, but this time at Low speed.
Thickness of sensor. If the tool sensor is a simple piece of copper board of thickness 1.6mm, then this value = 1.6mm
Distance between the moment when limit switch is activated and when limit switch is released. Value is usually around 2-5mm. User tests switch hysteresis value on his machine prior setting it here.
When this option is enabled, probe properties(diameter, speed, length etc) are considered with measure height procedure. These are set under Probe&Measure
Here you can set sensor parameters regarding Measure procedures under Machine/Tool Offset/Measure Length.
Speed at which machine will measure tool length.
After initial first tool length measurement, machine will repeat measurement again, but this time at Low speed.
Height value to which machine Z axis ascends after tool length measurement. This value is in machine coordinates.
Height value to which machine descends at traverse speed before continuing with Speed value. This speeds up the measurement process, since machine can descend towards the fixed sensor at traverse speed and still measure tool offset safely and accurately.
Distance between the moment when fixed sensor is activated and released. Value is usually around 2-5mm. User tests sensor hysteresis value on his machine prior setting it here.
