Opens a file open dialog and returns the selected file path.

Syntax

dlg_file_open();
dlg_file_open(extension);
dlg_file_open(extension, multi);

Parameters

Parameter	Type	Description	Comment
extension	String	Optional file extension filter.	Optional
multi		Allows miltiple files.	Optional

Return Value

Returns the full path of the selected file as a string.
Returns an empty string if no file was selected.

Examples

Open a file open dialog without an extension filter

filepath = dlg_file_open();
print(filepath);

Open a file open dialog with a specific file extension

filepath = dlg_file_open(".gcode");
print(filepath);
